PODCAST | Ryan Stimson: World Junior Championships, Analytics, & Modern Hockey Tactics

Ryan Stimson has had a wonderfully interesting path into the hockey spotlight. As a fan of the New Jersey Devils, Ryan began to collect data he felt was important to understand more about the game. One thing led to another, and now Ryan is the author of a brand new book: Tape to Space: Redefining Modern Hockey Tactics.

In addition to the book, Ryan writes for us here at The Coaches Site as well as The Athletic. He’s got a wealth of knowledge that’s helpful for coaches at every level, so we snagged him for the Glass & Out Podcast to learn more about his story and what he saw during the 2019 World Junior Championships.
