This is a great large and small scale 2-on-1 drill that works on transitioning down the ice, as well as low battles. Make this more difficult for your forwards by rimming the second puck along the boards and giving them less space to work with!
- Two Fs and two Fs pop out from the red line on either side of the neutral zone and accept a puck from their respective coaches
- They attack the D who has gapped up and take a 2-on-1 down the ice
- After the play, the coaches spot a second puck for the same forwards to attack the same D on a short 2-on-1 from the corner
