DRILL OVERVIEW:
Playes divide into two groups and set up as diagamed at opposite ends. On whistle the first player from each line skates designated route, receives pass from coach and attacks net, returning to end of line which he started from. Next player starts on second whistle and repeats drill Etc…

Goalies perform agility drill between shooters. Swithch sides after each player has completed turn in original direction.

TEACHING POINTS:
This is a speed drill, players are to push themselves to the max. Stay wide use complet  width of ice surface. Players use quick explosive crossovers through turns to create and maintain speed. There is one tight turn around cone prior to skating around centre ice circle. Complete with shot on goal, do not slow down, accelerate as if on breakaway.
