This weeks set of games are an extension to the work we have been doing previously around width and support in attack. These games are ran one after the other as there is an obvious progression. To minimize ice time wastage I ran the games from each corner with myself and an assistant coach running a game each with between 4-6 players. We use lots of visual demonstration and effective questioning to guarantee the success. I hope this helps any of you coaches who are looking to create very knowledgable Ice hockey players. This set of games is perfect for teaching the little guys how to transition and use speed in our wider areas and for older kids that are in need of a refresher and a great bit of competition.
