We all want to win, right? Of course we do. But is that what motivates you? If you’re showing up to the rink every day hell-bent on winning, then your details are going to suffer. You’re going to rush drills. You’re going to miss the process by which your players get better. You might even unleash the darker side of your personality and start casting blame on players who can’t keep up. Forcing your will to win can have longterm consequences for your team culture.
Let me tell, if all you have is blame, then you’ve got nothin’.
