Podcast | Dave Tippet & Building a Hockey Organization from Scratch

Former Phoenix Coyotes Head Coach Dave Tippet has been tasked with a rather large responsibility by the NHL: oversee the early days of the league’s 32nd franchise in Seattle, Washington, which will drop the puck at the start of the 2021-2022 season.

Dave joined Glass & Out to talk not only about the monumental task of kickstarting a new NHL franchise in Seattle, but what his roots on the prairies of Saskatchewan taught him about building things from scratch, winning championships with different styles of teams, and making the most out of a not-always-perfectly-stable ownership situation in the desert.

Enjoy!
