PODCAST | Kyle Wallack: How Do You Build a Hockey Culture from Scratch?

In Podcasts by Glass & OutLeave a Comment

Kyle Wallack has been around the NCAA College Hockey block, but all of his experience thus far has been with established universities that everyone on this side of the Atlantic has heard of: Yale, Vermont, Quinnipiac – but have you heard of Albertus Magnus? If you haven’t, you’re about to.

Kyle is the new head coach at Albertus Magnus College, which means not only does he have to scout and recruit a brand new team, being a college hockey coach means he has to recruit his staff. He has to set the guidelines of the program. He has to order laces.

A tall order indeed. This week we’ve got Kyle on the podcast to talk about that process and how much he’s enjoyed building a new program from scratch.
