Some insight from a longtime NHL strength and conditioning coach.

A successful program begins with trust between the player and coach, and with a focus on the fundamentals. In his presentation at our Coaches Conference, Vancouver Canucks strength and conditioning coach Roger Takahashi walked us through the lengths that a professional team goes to ensure it’s athletes are performing at the highest level.

With a roster of NHL players, minor leaguers and draft picks to manage, Roger and his team utilize the latest technology to stay on top of the performance of each individual player.
