Keeping the game fun and ensuring that players are able to develop at their own pace is the message in Glen Hanlon’s presentation. Since retiring from the NHL, Glen has coached at a variety of levels, including being the Head Coach of the Washington Capitals. In his presentation he examines his experience as a player, coach and hockey parent to identify the keys to keeping players engaged and providing opportunity for that “late bloomer”.
