The 1 vs 0 stretch pass is a classic warm-up drill which includes participation from every position. It’s a highly effective drill to work on crisp passes, transitioning timing, and strong entries prior to the shot on goal.

- F2 passes a puck to D (once F1 has made the pass to F3) for a D to D pass, who then makes a pass to F1 who turned back up the ice
- F2 then starts the drill after pass
