There’s a terrifying word for coaches starting their season right at the end of the minor hockey years: millennial. Fortunately for the attendees of this year’s #2018HCC, Ottawa Senators Assistant Coach Marc Crawford brought along his two millennial children. Both perspectives, right? Katie Crawford, a volleyball player at the University of British Columbia, efficiently outlined what young athletes are looking for from their coaches, including collaborative and collective environments.
